MUSTA 3.0 AWNING OPERATION
Deploying The Awning
To deploy the awning locate the Drill and 19mm Socket adapter. Additionally locate the winder, typically stored in the under-seat compartments.
Ensure the door of the vehicle is closed prior to opening the awning to avoid catching or tearing.
Hook the winder to the awning eyelet towards the rear of the vehicle.
Connect the socket of the drill to the base of the winder.
Ensure throughout this process that both the drill and the winder do not touch or scratch the vehicle decal and artwork.
Intermittently engage the drill in an Anti-Clockwise direction to begin deploying the awning.
Once the awning has been fully extended, locate the dropper legs in the extended section.
Pop out each leg and lower to a vertical position. Once both legs are vertical, using the wing nuts, gradually raise the awning to the desired height. If desired, include a lean in the awning to allow for runoff of water.
Stowing The Awning
To stow the awning locate the Drill and 19mm Socket Adaptor. Additionally the winder, typically stored in the under seat compartments.
Ensure the sliding door is closed.
Lower the awning via the side leg wing nut locks and gradually raise the legs from a vertical position to a horizontal position, locking them into the awning batten.
Hook the winder onto the hook located at the rear of the vehicle.
Attach the drill to the base of the winder.
Ensure throughout this process that both the drill and the winder do not touch or scratch the vehicle decal and artwork.
Intermittently engage the drill in a Clockwise direction to begin stowing the awning. Continue until the batten retracts fully into the enclosure.
Return the winder to the storage location under the seats and the drill back on charge under the TV.
